I was so lucky that I got invited to attend the First Google Developer Day in India. It was on October 18th, from Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore. It was the best day of my life. I went to Bangalore on 17th and stayed with my cousin. Next day morning without having the breakfast I started for the event venue. I hired an AutoRiksha. That stupid dropped me at the The Chancery instead of Chancery Pavilion. The cost of hiring an Auto is increasing everyday... i had to pay Rs.120 to travel just 5km. Anyways, I reached the hotel and went to the Grand Ball Room in the basement. On the way I registered my name and I got an ID Card and a file with a pen 
I went inside and saw the Googlers !!!!! I was so proud of myself for being able to meet the Googlers ! I sat in a place and waited for James Yum, Bijoy and Ajay. In between I just checked for any wifi on the hotel and I got Google1 to Google9 but I dint knew the password. 
then i saw a Googler talking to another Googler about the wifi setup. He was saying the password and I got the password 
I took a photo of the file I got and connected to internet via wifi Google6 connection. I uploaded the photo I took from my phone to orkut and it was so fast !! In 5 seconds I uploaded the photo. That was the first time I used wifi on my phone....
Then after few minutes Bijoy and Ajay came. We had a chat and then found that I did not get the Google Pendrive which comes with the File. I went back to the registration desk and I got a pendrive a sweet pendrive with Google logo on it.... then went inside and had a coffee with Bijoy and Ajay. The waiters was a Malayalees. Then we went back to our chairs. After sometime, James came inside. He was alone, he saw me and we waved each other. The best moment in my life.. meeting with James. Then we had a small chat and went back to our seat. Keynote was over by 10 - 10:30. Then I had to attend the Desktop API tech talk. Bijoy and Ajay also joined me. Fortunately, I got a seat next to James and we had small chats in between... after that session, I went to the Maps API techtalk which was on the basement again. Ajay was accompanying me. It was very interesting one. Something new and something i would like to know. Then comes the lunch.. it was more than AWESOME!!! many many dishes... after that I again met James, and me Ajay, and Bijoy went for the Google Desktop codelabs.. James was taking the basics of the coding using Google Desktop SDK. Bijoy started helping out the developers and me too came out for helping others with the installations and other troubleshoots.. it was awesome I was wearing Google Tshirt and many asked me if I work for Google or not... I am just 18.. it was an unforgetable event. After the first codelabs, I had to go for Maps Codelab, but I and Bijoy stayed with James for helping the codelab. It was super.. after that codelabs Satish left fastly... we thought of taking some pics with him... he told "Just take my single photo and photoshop it " hehe.. we took some pics with him and he went to his house. Then me, Ajay, Bijoy, one more guy whos name I dont remember.. James and another US guy.... We got our Google Goodies and we having snacks... snacks were also awesome After a 30 min chit chat, it was time to say bye... It was not a happy moment, we dont know when we will meet again.. James will leave to London next day itself.. it was like dream come true for me to meet the Googlers including James, Satish etc... I hope to meet everyone again for next Google Developer Day
